It is an honor and a privilege to serve on the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, Ladies for Literacy Guild, Executive Committee for the last six years.

In the spirit of service, the Ladies for Literacy Guild mobilizes resources to foster a love of reading through the power of literacy.

Ladies for Literacy Guild is a dynamic group of women committed to carrying forth Barbara Bush's legacy in literacy and supporting the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation.

Their mission is to READ:

Rally members and supporters to advance the literacy cause;

Enrich lives through literacy programs;

Advocate for the importance of literacy; and

Devote time, talent and treasure to ensure the success of the Foundation's mission.
